RACHAM visited Goni Gora IDP Camp, Kaduna State, where men, women, and children have fled violence and insecurity from their homes. Daily life in the camp was marked by hardship—limited food and the emotional toll of displacement. For the children, normal childhood routines have been replaced by survival; for parents, the burden of providing safety and care under difficult conditions is overwhelming.
In response, World Challenge, through its implementing partner RACHAM Foundation, visited the Goni Gora IDP Camp to stand with displaced families in their moment of need. The team provided relief materials to ease immediate suffering and spent time listening to the stories of those affected, offering comfort and encouragement and prayers. This intervention reflects World Challenge’s mission of expressing Christ’s love through practical support—meeting urgent needs while restoring dignity and hope.
Beneficiaries: Over 50 widows from the IDP Community benefited from the outreach and community support from the donations and emotional support.
