RACHAM Foundation Clothing Project for Widows

Date: May 2026 | Garam, Niger State

Details:
RACHAM Foundation implemented a Clothing Project for Widows in Garam, Niger State, as part of its broader commitment to restoring dignity and improving the wellbeing of vulnerable women. The initiative recognized that many widows face economic hardship that limits their ability to provide basic necessities, including adequate clothing.

Through the project, specially tailored dresses were produced and distributed to widows within the community. The initiative not only met a practical need but also served as a gesture of love, encouragement, and solidarity with women facing difficult life circumstances.

The distribution created moments of joy and renewed confidence among beneficiaries, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to promoting dignity and inclusion for vulnerable groups.

Beneficiaries: A total of 102 widows received newly made dresses through the clothing support project.

We are driven by a strong commitment to addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals and communities across the continent, with a focus on promoting empowerment, equality, and sustainable development.
