RACHAM Empowerment and Humanitarian Foundation is currently undertaking the construction of an orphanage home alongside a school facility at Azhi-Bisa Community in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger State. This initiative was launched in response to the growing number of vulnerable and orphaned children within underserved rural communities who lack access to safe shelter and quality education.
The Azhi-Bisa community is characterized by limited infrastructure and access to basic social services, leaving many children exposed to neglect, poverty, and interrupted education. Through this project, RACHAM Foundation aims to provide a safe, nurturing environment where orphaned and vulnerable children can live, learn, and thrive. The integrated school will ensure access to foundational education, helping to break the cycle of poverty and create long-term opportunities for the children.
Beyond physical infrastructure, the project is designed to promote holistic child development by incorporating care, mentorship, and value-based learning. The orphanage will serve not only as a shelter but as a place of hope, stability, and transformation for children in need.
This initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to sustainable impact by addressing both immediate and long-term needs—providing shelter, education, and a pathway to a better future. Through this effort, RACHAM Foundation continues to demonstrate its dedication to restoring dignity, empowering lives, and building stronger communities.
