Goal:

To improve the living conditions and wellbeing of orphans at City of Refuge Orphanage Home.

Details:

Racham Foundation undertook a full-scale renovation of the orphanage facility to ensure the children had a safe and comfortable environment. The project involved repainting the entire building, repairing damaged structures, and replacing old furniture. The Foundation also donated a complete set of new chairs and a plasma TV, creating a welcoming and homely environment for the children. This intervention boosted morale among the children and staff while improving the overall standard of care at the orphanage.

Beneficiaries: Over 50 children and caregivers directly benefited from the upgraded facilities.

Objectives:

  • Renovate and paint the orphanage buildings.
  • Provide new furniture and entertainment facilities (chairs and plasma TV).
  • Create a more comfortable and child-friendly environment.
