To promote economic independence and social empowerment for widows in Katampe II.
This initiative mirrored the Guidna program but was tailored to the specific needs of widows in Katampe II. Beyond vocational training, widows were engaged in financial literacy sessions, savings culture (Village Savings and Loan Associations), and small group mentorship to help them manage their businesses effectively. Empowerment kits such as sewing machines, catering starter packs, and hairdressing equipment were distributed. Many beneficiaries testified that this project gave them renewed hope and the capacity to care for their children independently. They were also given various Food items.
Beneficiaries: Over 620 widows were trained, mentored, and empowered with starter packs.
